Ariana Grande Asks Rihanna To Drop An Album After She Broke Her Spotify Record

It has been almost two years since Ariana Grande released the hit Sweetener, and now she is celebrating another achievement. Chart Data announced on Twitter that Ariana Grande has just surpassed Rihanna as the most most-streamed female artist on Spotify.

The singer took to Instagram to thank everyone for listening to her music. “Thank u all so much for listening and caring at all let alone this much,” she wrote. She also told her fans: “i can’t wait to give u new things to listen to. 🤍”

But what drew everyone’s attention was also Ariana’s request. She asked Rhianna if she could drop an album to get back her crown: “Now can rihanna pls drop her album so she can rightfully snatch this back and fill my ears again please or….”

Ariana was not the only one telling Rihanna to release new music, though. Rihanna also joined on the joke when she trolled her doppelganger and asked her “where the album sis?” Recently, the singer did say she is working on a project, and it will not disappoint the fans.

“I am always working on music. I am always working on music and when I’m ready to put it out in the way that I feel fit, it’s gonna come out. And you’re not going to be disappointed when it happens. It’s going to be worth it. I’m not just gonna put it out just because people are waiting. It’s taken this long, I’m gonna make it worth it.”

Ariana’s latest update was of her new fragrance that she had launched exclusively at Ulta.com. It is called R.E.M and it will be released at Ulta Beauty stores starting with September 6.
