Miguel confirms album release date and drops new video for 'Told You So'

After months of teasing, Miguel has finally confirmed that his highly anticipated fourth studio album War & Leisure will be released on December 1.

Described as a “meditation on the duality of our times” and his “most upbeat” work yet, the album is available to pre-order now. Merchandise bundles which were designed by famed LA designer Alex James from PLEASURES and Miguel are available from the singer’s official webstore. In addition to the album release date, we have also been treated to the album cover art, which was shot by Timothy Saccenti.

Miguel also gave us a further taste of the album by unveiling a new song called ‘Told You So’. The track is a funky jam which showcases the artist at his best, and has been teamed up with a thought provoking video. Directed by Karim Huu Do, the visual for the song was shot in 2016 and shows the singer attempt to make his way through the desert, in the midst of world destruction.

Check out ‘Told You So’ below.

‘Told You So’ follows on from the recently released ‘Sky Walker’, both of which are expected to appear on War & Leisure. However, the official tracklist has yet to be revealed. War & Leisure is the follow up to his 2015 Grammy nominated album Wildheart.
