The Undertaker Reveals His Wrestling Mount Rushmore

The Mount Rushmore of professional wrestling is one of the most popular debate among superstars, fans and pundits.

There are dozens of superstars who've made compelling cases to be in the wrestling Mount Rushmore. The long list includes the likes of The Rock, 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin, Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, John Cena, Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, Triple H, Chris Jericho and Andre the Giant.

You simply can't go wrong when it comes to choosing your own wrestling Mount Rushmore. There are countless possibilities out there, and it's extremely difficult to pick just four names in a giant pool of wrestling legends.

In recent months, several wrestlers and legends have revealed their picks for the wrestling Mount Rushmore. This includes Seth Rollins (Hogan, Rock, Flair and Austin), Jericho (Michaels, Hogan, Ultimo Dragon and Bret Hart) and The Rock (Hogan, Flair, Gorgeous George/Bruno Sammartino and Austin).

During an interview with Comic Book, Undertaker was asked to pick his wrestling Mount Rushmore. He started off by naming three common Mount Rushmore choices, before finally settling on Andre the Giant as the other.

"You got to have (Ric) Flair. You got to have (Hulk) Hogan. Stone Cold (Steve Austin).... That fourth one's tough," Undertaker said. "It could be Harley (Race). It could be Dusty (Rhodes). It could be Bruno (Sammartino). And I base that on contributions to the business. Not so much if they were a great worker or this or that, but... Oh, I know my fourth, it's Andre (the Giant). I don't know why I forgot Andre. So yeah, it would probably be Flair, Hogan, Stone Cold and Andre."

Asked about his feelings when fans place him on the wrestling Mount Rushmore, Undertaker said he's "flattered and honored" that he's in the conversation, but the humble superstar doesn't see himself in the top four.

He won't say it, but Undertaker certainly has a strong case to be in the all time Mount Rushmore. He's spent 30 years with the WWE, and no other wrestler in history has successfully reinvented their wrestling character time and time again. Throw in his 21-0 WrestleMania streak, the longevity, championship success and strong in-ring work, and you can easily argue that Undertaker belongs in the top four as well.

Hard To Argue With Undertaker's Picks

Hogan was the face of professional wrestling during the booming period in the '80s, and Austin was the face of WWE during the Attitude Era. In terms of marketing and growing the product, those two have to be considered on the Mount Rushmore. Flair's longevity, legendary persona and 16 world titles will always keep him in the discussion. Like Hogan, Andre the Giant was instrumental in growing the wrestling business during the '80s, so he too deserves to be mentioned in the wrestling Mount Rushmore conversations.
